A Message from Steve Hendricks, Founder  of SDH Flow Controls

After nearly 25 years in business, I am pleased to announce the next chapter for SDH Flow Controls.

One of my highest priorities has always been ensuring that the company, our customers, and the relationships we’ve built would thrive for generations to come. I am proud to share that I have found the right person to carry the torch forward — someone who shares the same values, passion, and commitment to customer service that have defined SDH since its founding.

I first met Zak Schultz nearly two years ago as a customer. Over time, his strong interest in joining SDH and taking on an ownership role grew into reality. Through his family company, CMS Americas, Zak has acquired the assets of SDH Flow Controls.

This strategic combination creates exciting new opportunities for growth while strengthening our ability to serve customers in the industrial, process, and HVAC markets. Together, we will offer an expanded portfolio of valves, automation, strainers, flow-control devices, and related solutions with enhanced resources and support.

This transition also allows me to remain connected to an industry I love while entering a new season of life. As the saying goes, “If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.” I have been blessed to live that reality for 25 years, working alongside exceptional customers (many of whom became lifelong friends), and outstanding manufacturing partners.

I now look forward to spending more time with my wife and co-worker Carla — my business partner for 25 years, best friend, and wife for nearly 50 years — along with our three daughters and nine wonderful grandchildren.

  Our extensive inventory of VAC (Valve Accessories & Controls) products — one of the largest in our multi-state territory — remains fully available to support your positioner and accessory needs.
• Leadership & Team
  Zak Schultz and the CMS Americas team, including Carrie Schultz and Ethan Schultz, have assumed leadership. Andrea Houghtaling will continue in her key sales and customer service role, providing the same excellent support you’ve come to expect.
• Location Update
  We will share our new facility address and complete contact information in the coming weeks. 
• Steve’s Ongoing Role
  I will remain actively involved during an extended transition period to support customers and assist with growth initiatives.

Zak and the entire team are enthusiastic about the future. We remain committed to delivering the same high-quality products, technical expertise, and personal service you’ve relied on for nearly 25 years — now with even greater resources and capabilities.
